About W-EATS
W-EATS (PTY) LTD provides WhatsApp-based ordering technology for independent food vendors across South Africa. We help you receive clear, structured customer orders on WhatsApp so you can focus on preparing and selling your food.
W-EATS is a technology tool only — not a delivery platform, marketplace, or food business.
What W-EATS Does
- Sets up WhatsApp ordering for your store and menu
- Organises customer orders into a clear, structured format
- Sends orders directly to your WhatsApp number
- Provides area-based customer discovery — customers find you by location
- Issues a store QR code poster for in-store display
- Provides basic technical support for the ordering system
What W-EATS Does NOT Do
- We do not prepare, sell, or deliver food
- We do not control your prices, menu, or operating hours
- We do not handle or process customer payments
- We do not manage your customers or resolve disputes on your behalf
- We do not guarantee order volumes or revenue
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing and selling food of acceptable quality and safety
- Setting and maintaining accurate prices and trading hours
- Accepting or rejecting orders promptly via WhatsApp
- Keeping your menu and store information up to date
- Communicating with customers regarding your orders
- Handling collection arrangements at your store
- Complying with all applicable health, safety, and local regulations
Pricing & Payment
Your first 3 months on W-EATS are completely free. No setup fee. No monthly fee. No catch.
After the free period, you are billed R2 per order processed through the platform. W-EATS takes 0% commission — every rand from your customers goes directly to you.
Invoices are issued monthly. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice via PayShap. W-EATS reserves the right to suspend service for non-payment after reasonable notice.
Data & Privacy
Your store details and WhatsApp number are used only to connect you with customers on the W-EATS platform. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Customer order data is stored securely and used only for operational purposes.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 7 days written notice via WhatsApp or email. W-EATS may immediately suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, including non-payment, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to customers.
Limitation of Liability
W-EATS is a technology service only. We are not liable for food quality, customer disputes, order fulfilment failures, or any losses arising from use of the platform. Our maximum liability in any matter is limited to fees paid in the preceding month.
Acceptance of Terms: By registering your store on W-EATS and accepting the Vendor T&Cs via WhatsApp, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Merchant Agreement.
